Project X Calderdale

Recently we ran a sex and relationships course for parents  and carers callled Speakeasy, a course initially developed by the Family Planning Association (fpa).  Speakeasy, provides the opportunity for parents and carers to learn together and to build the confidence and skills they need to talk to their children and young people about sex and relationships.  The programme offers a safe and enjoyable environment where we can learn together, share experiences and ideas about what, when and how we talk to our children and young people about an often difficult range of questions and answers.  The basic premise is that if we can talk to our children about sex and relationships, we can talk to them about just about anything!
